We Can’t Say Enough About Disney’s Beach Club Resort!

Looking for family fun, relaxation, and a great location all in one Disney Resort?  Look no further than the Disney Beach Club Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is the ideal Disney-Beach-Pool-Delectable Dining-Resort. This Disney Deluxe resort is located on Crescent Lake with a long and narrow beach. It is a Disney, Beach, and Water Park vacation all in one! The magic begins as you enter the Beach Club’s lobby.  You are immersed in the citrus beach aromas and light oak trim work and seaside details and you quickly realize this is much more than a theme park vacation.

Stormalong Bay is a three-acre pool that is appealing to the young and old!  It is located on the shore of Crescent Lake and connects the Beach Club and its sister resort, the Yacht Club. The pool is sand-bottomed, has several pool areas with waterfalls, water volleyball, a lazy river, hot tubs, and the pirate ship water slide! This is the biggest pool area at Walt Disney World Resort. There are also three other pools to accommodate your family at the Beach Club Resort. The Tidal Pool is located in the gardens of the resort that face Crescent Lake. Laundry facilities can be found in a building next to the pool, so you can spend some quality time while washing your clothes. Admiral Pool can be found on the Beach Club’s sister resort’s property, the Yacht Club.  The Beach and Yacht Club share amenities.  The third pool is located within the Disney Vacation Club Villas, named the Dunes Cove Pool. These pools offer hot tubs and are rarely crowded, a  great way to take a refreshing, quiet dip in the pool or spa.   Walkers, joggers, and runners can find a jogging trail at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. It is a scenic 0.8-mile course around Crescent Lake, that includes passing Disney’s Boardwalk Inn.Family fun activities at the resort range from boating, swimming, jogging, volleyball, arcade games, a gym, jogging, and fishing. Also, campfires, sing-alongs, and Disney Movies are hosted on the lawn under the stars, making magical memories on your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation as easy as walking out the door of your room.  Yacht and Beach Club’s on-site child-care center is the Sandcastle Club for kids ages 3-12.  Hours of operation are 4:30 PM-midnight daily.  Call to make reservations (180 days in advance) for this extra cost club by calling 407-WDW-DINE.  Ship Shape Massage Salon Fitness offers a health club, spa, and salon services.

The Disney Beach Club Resort is located in the EPCOT and Boardwalk area. It’s the first hotel you come to when you leave EPCOT from the International Gate. The Disney Beach Club Resort is an easy walk from the Beach Club to the Boardwalk area and EPCOT. It is a long but pleasant walk along the lake to Hollywood Studios.  Breakfast (which is a character breakfast, featuring Minnie, Donald, and Goofy) and dinner (seafood & more) buffets are featured at the Cape May Cafe. Beaches and Cream Soda Shop is a popular favorite for a 50’s type diner atmosphere, serving burgers, fries and, of course, some notable ice cream…specifically, the kitchen sink, a huge bowl of several scoops of ice cream, cookies, brownies, candies, chocolate, strawberry, caramel syrup, peanut butter, whipped cream, and whatever else is perfect for the sweet tooth lovers and must be shared & enjoyed with many people!  Hurricane Hanna’s Waterside Bar & Grill is a poolside, grilled sandwich, yummy, quick service meal.  Martha’s Vineyard Lounge is Beach Club’s lounge with several beer selections, wines, and a selection of spirits.  Ariel’s is a private dining room reserved for private parties. The Beach Club Marketplace offers quick grab and go meals, snacks, and drinks. 

Concierge buffets are available to concierge club level guests and room service is available 24 hours a day.  More restaurants and lounges are available on property at the Disney’s Yacht Club.  These include Yachtsman Steakhouse, Captain’s Grill, and Crew’s Cup Lounge.

Beach Club Guest Rooms offer views that overlook Crescent Lake, the gardens, grounds or lagoon.  All guestrooms, including the standard and concierge club level, are furnished with espresso wood and pale blue muted tones.  Standard Room amenities are included, and you will also find a ceiling fan, as well as a coffee maker and refrigerator. There are also 1 and 2 bedroom suites and concierge club level rooms available at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The resort has 22 handicap-accessible rooms. Some feature roll-in showers, while others include hearing device assistance. Navigating the Beach Club Resort is easy. You can walk or take a water ferry to EPCOT, Disney’s Boardwalk, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Bus transportation to Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s water parks are included in your stay at the Beach Club. The buses are shared with the Yacht Club, and their guests board the bus prior to Beach Club guests.
